\u2026 realized that being a good presenter comes in handy in all respective fields of life\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026 then it is time to test yourself in a live situation!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and the University of Szeged Junior Academy together with Ezabesz\u00e9d Toastmasters Retorika Klub Szeged are organizing the SZTE-PREZILIMPIA competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PREZILIMPIA is a fantastic opportunity for university students to contest and compare their presentation skills in a competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition is open to students from the Faculties of SZTE, 1 person per 10 participants of the faculty rounds can be nominated to the finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the traditions of Prezilimpia, the best non-SZTE students studying in Hungarian higher education can also enter the final of the competition in the framework of an online competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The call of the online contest can be found below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the competition, a minimum 6 and a maximum 8-minute presentation is held in the topic of the contest either in Hungarian or in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topic:<\/strong> Digital security and AI: Protection or threat?<\/strong>
Content<\/strong>: up to the contestants
Language<\/strong>: Hungarian or English
Length<\/strong>: minimum 6, maximum 8 minutes
Technique<\/strong>: Slideshow is not mandatory, MS Power Point or Prezi can be used<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes (net amount)<\/strong>
First place: 200.000 HUF
Second place: 170.000 HUF
Third place: 140.000 HUF<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For SZTE students:<\/strong>
Apply at the Faculty corresponding to your studies. After the internal selection in the faculty rounds of SZTE, the best contestants per faculty will be sent to the final round in proportion to the applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For non-SZTE students:<\/strong>
On the basis of an online competition, non-SZTE finalist students will be invited to the final in Szeged. Send us a video<\/strong> for the online round to convince the jury that you belong among the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the video, the presentation should be held in such a way that the speaker’s face is visible throughout the whole length of the video. If you are using slides, they can be displayed in any way you wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final of the competition, the contestants will hold a live presentation in person. The final order is determined by the jury of the final.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The finalists can also compete in the traditional „Presentation Karaoke” competition based on a voluntary application for special prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The essence of the Presentation Karaoke competition is that without prior preparation, the competitors have 2 minutes to constantly talk about the slide show on the projector, which is compiled by the organizers. The relationship between the slides (which can be pictures, figures, drawings, diagrams, etc.) is unknown to the contestant, they automatically follow each other every 15 seconds. In this issue, we test the improvisation abilities of the candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First place: 40.000 HUF
Second place: 30.000 HUF
Third place: 20.000 HUF<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you make it to the final round wither from the SZTE faculty rounds or from the online contest, you can try yourself live. In addition, you will also get a professional training with the help of a mentor<\/strong>, who will guide you to create a truly impressive speech, live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is supported by the local Toastmasters club, a member of the Toastmasters International organization, one of the world\u2019s biggest professional public speaking and leadership development organization, a network present in 141 countries with 14,600 clubs helping 352,000 members develop their leadership and public speaking skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In today’s world, it is unimaginable to live without digital tools and activities. These data guide our daily decisions and learning processes. Recently, not only humans but also machines have been using our data for learning and decision-making, as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) spreads rapidly across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
